Thiago Auge –
What a pleasant surprise!
I was following the work of Panucci Guitars for some time now and always wanted to own one.
The opportunity came and I decided to pull the trigger on this “59 inspired” and though my expectations were higher than usual I was absolutely astonished by the level of care and craftsmanship on my guitar.
It’s such a pleasure to play, it feels authentically wormed and distressed, liven in… the sound is open and defined, immediately reminded me of the best examples from the 50s.
I have been fortunate enough to have owned and played a few custom shop guitars from the main brands and they always felt like very good guitars but still production line guitars, and when they were aged it always felt incoherent overall to my eyes as not all parts were aged equally nor the feel was correct for a vintage worn instrument (even the ones I’ve tried from the main “guru” from the big “G”).
I couldn’t be more satisfied with my new instrument, keep up the excellent work Mr. Angelo!
